The first team focused on raising awareness and laying down a firm foundation for future MHAT clubs and endeavours! The team consisted of only 10 members, but they were strong and active. They focused first on bringing the issue of mental health to light, especially in the community and at NFV High School. "Fight the Stigma" was found on T-shirts and bracelets encouraging people to rethink and educate themselves about what healthy mental practices and perceptions were versus myths. The first assembly was featured in the newspaper and the word was out! Now more work to be done and more people to raise awareness!
