We met in Mrs. Gruman's Room for the last time this year and distributed medals to those who attended! We unanimously nominated and elected Ava Hutchinson and Valerie Boleyn for Team Leads next year! We decided to focus on social media use, the positives and negatives for the 2018-2019 year while munching on some snacks! Posters from the Community Coalition were hung up by members and we said our goodbyes!
MAY 15th is an important date! We will start our #Face2Face campaign on instagram and other social media. We will also hold a wear green awareness day for Mental Health Month! Thanks for a great year!

What an amazing time at the assembly! Dr. Fassbinder was wonderful and the MHAT Team led section was a highlight! You can view the video below of our presentation. It was unfortunate the other leaders were not present, but thank you to EVERYONE who helped in some way. You are awesome! As we draw closer to our assembly already next week a few notes:
Hi Members!
Tomorrow morning we will have our monthly meeting at 7:45am in Mrs. Gruman's Room. Stacie Schroeder of the Community Coalition will come speak about local mental health resources! Please join us! Hi Members!
We viewed the short film produced by this year's team while munching on some snacks and drinks. We discussed our mission statement and upcoming program! The mason jar project will continue until mid-April. Please view the website and keep checking emails/phones/the website for announcements! Mason jars, hot glue, decoration materials, and paper are all in Mr. Clark's office.
Please create a jar with you name and put in happy thoughts, compliments, positive vibes, etc in our other teammates jars! You can keep those comments or read them throughout the day, but at the end of the year, we will fill them with something special and put the comments into a 2018 Art Collage. We held our monthly morning meeting at 7:45am Wednesday in Mrs. Gruman's Room. During it, we discussed common Mental Health Myths and questions, as well as assigned student readers/speakers for the April Assembly. See the document below if you would like to speak in any of the unassigned spaces. We started filming briefly for our 2018 Awareness video as well as took photos for our photo roster! If you have not attended AT LEAST ONE meeting this month or last month, please do so. We will be making an official poster, so if you do not attend, you will be removed due to inactivity. Next video filming sessions will be: March 20th@7:45am March 28th@7:30am (more if needed)
